They may be incomplete, out of date, measured on a different unit, firmware, or region than yours, or simply wrong.
Sensitivity is individual. A device we or the community label "restful," "flicker-safe," or "good" may still cause you eye strain, headaches, or other symptoms — and a device labelled "straining" or "bad" may be perfectly comfortable for you. Panel lottery, firmware updates, settings, ambient lighting, and your own physiology all change the outcome. Always test a device yourself before relying on it.

Tools that write to hardware
Some tools referenced or sold here (for example RedControl) write directly to GPU registers or device settings. These are advanced tools. Misuse may cause display glitches, instability, or require a reboot. Use them only if you understand what they do; we accept no liability for their use.
